Job Description NetImpact Strategies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Administrator (DBA) with deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Azure DevOps. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record managing large-scale database environments supporting complex enterprise applications. This individual will also bring substantial experience in AWS, particularly working with cloud-native database services. The position requires advanced proficiency in SQL query performance tuning, ETL development, SSIS, SSRS, and SQL Server installation and configuration. This role will support a broad and complex application portfolio comprising more than 1,000 databases and petabytes of data. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively in a high-stakes environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Design, implement, and manage Microsoft SQL Server environments, ensuring optimal performance, high availability, and security. * Develop and maintain complex ETL processes using SSIS to support data integration and migration across systems. * Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-native database solutions in AWS, such as Amazon RDS, Aurora, and DynamoDB. * Leverage Azure DevOps pipelines for automated deployments, database versioning, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD). * Tune and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability across large-scale datasets and mission-critical applications. * Manage installation, configuration, and patching of SQL Server across development, staging, and production environments. * Administer reporting services using SSRS, including development and maintenance of dashboards and operational reports. * Monitor and troubleshoot database-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and high system performance. * Collaborate with development teams, system architects, and other stakeholders to ensure database solutions align with business needs. * Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions for SQL Server and AWS-hosted databases Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
