Job Title: Maximo Principal Technical Consultant Job Overview This position assesses, designs, develops, integrates and troubleshoots technology to support business processes. Employees provide technical or functional guidance to project or work teams, as needed within specific or multiple disciplines. This position is accountable for ensuring the reliability, performance, security, and continuity of IT systems, as well as ensuring that excellent technical support services are provided. Job Duties & Responsibilities *Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of IBM Maximo solutions. *Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and develop functional requirements. *Provide expert advice on Maximo best practices and customization to meet specific client needs. *Conduct system analysis, design, testing, and deployment of Maximo applications. *Integrate Maximo with other enterprise systems to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency. *Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Maximo installations and configurations. *Develop and deliver training programs for users and administrators of Maximo systems. *Maintain documentation of Maximo implementations, configurations, and processes. *Stay updated with the latest Maximo features, updates, and industry trends. *Requirements: *Extensive experience with IBM Maximo, including implementation, configuration, and integration. *Strong understanding of Maximo functionalities and best practices. *Proven experience in technical consulting, including system analysis and design. *Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. *Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and other relevant programming languages. *Experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, or other application servers. *Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. *Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. *Certification in Maximo or related technologies is a plus. Required Qualifications *Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience *Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Maximo technical consulting, with significant experience at an expert level *Leadership: Proven track record of leadership in large-scale, complex Maximo deployments, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams. *Expert Knowledge: Deep expertise in Maximo modules, advanced configurations, customizations, and integrations. *Executive Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to C-level executives and non-technical stakeholders. *Project and Program Management: Extensive experience managing large portfolios of projects and programs, with strong project management skills. *Technical Proficiency: Advanced technical proficiency in Maximo architecture, system integration, data migration, and performance optimization. *Industry Expertise: Broad experience with utility industry, with a deep understanding of sector-specific EAM challenges and solutions. *Innovation and Strategy: Strong strategic thinking and innovation skills, with the ability to drive continuous improvement and transformation initiatives. *Consulting and Advisory: Strong consulting and advisory skills, providing guidance and recommendations to executives on Maximo-related matters. *Requirement Analysis: Understanding and documenting business requirements to ensure Maximo solutions meet client needs. *Implementation and Upgrades: Extensive experience in Maximo implementations, upgrades, and enhancements across various industries *Maximo Configuration and Customization: Proficiency in configuring and customizing Maximo applications, including creating custom applications and automation scripting using Python, JavaScript, and Java *Integration: Designing and developing interfaces with external systems using Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), Web Services, RESTful APIs, and other technologies *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00/hr.
