ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Manage and oversee all venue concepts
  • Queue management and customer engagement - being the voice and face of the brand
  • Promote employee engagement
  • Deliver superior guest service
  • Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints
  • Organize and supervise shifts
  • Recruit, train, manage and develop staff
  • Control costs and minimize waste
  • Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales
  • Maintaining and maximizing profitability whilst ensuring that standards and policies are met
  • KPI's for the entire venue
  • Performing daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Steamboat Resort safety standards
  • Positive and flexible attitude, with the ability to think laterally and willing to problem solve
  • An openness to rolling up your sleeves and pitching in from time to time on non-designated areas of the business
  • An interest in the street food industry
  • Other duties as assigned


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least three years GM experience in a full service OR fast-casual restaurant
  • Experience of working in a large space environment
  • Solid tenure and stable job history
  • Professional in presentation and communication
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends


EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Degree or GED


The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on a range of factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski and Resort Corporation total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives.

Steamboat area base salary range: $65,000 - $80,000 per year

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must lift and carry approximately 50 lbs. (i.e., a sack of potatoes or stacked supplies)
  • Must stand for long periods of time or walk for up to six hours.
  • Read, write, and speak fluently in English. Spanish a plus.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
