Operations Supervisor | Strobes | Nashville, TN

Regular Employee | Salary Exempt

What you'll do:

Strobes-R-Us, a brand of The Shyft Group is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Operations Supervisor to provide leadership, direction, and coordination for our production operations in Lebanon, TN. You will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and high-quality vehicle upfitting while fostering a safe and productive work environment.

Core Responsibilities:

* Develop and maintain strong relationships with high level municipal leaders, serving as a key point of contact to ensure effective communication and collaboration, while proactively managing and safeguarding the organization's reputation within these critical partnerships.

* Lead and direct the operations workforce to achieve production targets and deliverables.

* Drive accountability for safety, quality, and delivery to meet corporate, departmental, and customer goals.

* Oversee and ensure the completion of assigned shop-level production operations with a focus on timely and high-quality workmanship.

* Monitor process and product quality to ensure compliance with standards that meet or exceed customer expectations.

* Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support employee engagement and development.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations.
  • Demonstrated record of effective leadership and mentoring of supervisory personnel.
  • Working knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and their application.
  • Proven ability to drive performance improvement within a manufacturing workforce
