What you'll do

The Process Automation analyst will deliver automation process excellence across the CAO organization. This role analyzes business requirements, develops scenarios by working with business teams, and provides the automation process to deliver best-of-breed solutions. The analyst also drives the requirements and provides technical support for technology, such as ALTERYX workflows, UI Path requirements, and dashboards using Tableau and ERP reporting tools.

As part of the finance process automation team, you will drive automation across business processes, including Quote-to-Cash, record-to-report, procure-to-pay, and hire-to-retire. The ability to think critically, plan, and execute effectively while collaborating across teams and locations will be a key to success in this role.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director, Accounting Operations.

Responsibility

  • Coordinate and facilitate business discussion, Business acceptance, and other initiative-related activities with business teams
  • Continue process improvements, leveraging market best practices, standardization, and automation
  • Interface with cross-functional teams within the CAO organization to evaluate and support the "art of possible." automation to drive process simplification and improvements
  • Partner across the accounting operations teams to drive automation delivery and ensure alignment on priorities
  • Engage with business partners within finance and other areas of the organization and collaborate to achieve shared goals and objectives
  • Complete special projects that will be presented to executive leadership
  • Build financial models, run scenario analysis, and provide data analytics to identify areas of opportunity within the accounting operations
  • Work with different technologies and drive the best practices to adopt the right technology for process automation
  • Prepare analytical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends leveraging technologies such as Alteryx, Tableau, and reporting tools
  • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing requirement-gathering processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes
  • Quantify potential efficiency opportunities and track them accordingly
  • Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to develop briefings and documents
  • Translate conceptual user requirements into business requirements and documents in a clear manner that is comprehensible to stakeholders and potential customers/users
  • Create business process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to guide developers and/or the project team whenever necessary by partnering with DTS and Engineering teams
  • Manages and tracks the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforces and redefines as necessary
  • Help support our processes and systems, including ongoing enhancements RTB requests
  • Partner with process leads, DTS, to manage the delivery of initiatives and timelines and report the business issues and risks

Job Designation

Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time.

What you bring

Basic

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting process automation
  • Experience in functional/business process and data analysis focused on the Finance domain
  • Experience in business transformational projects/programs globally

Preferred

  • Experience in a Hi-Tech / SaaS-based company
  • Knowledge of automation technology, including Alteryx development, UiPath, and Microsoft maker
  • Excellent communication skills

Wage Transparency

Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:

California: $101,500.00 - $156,750.00 base salary

Illinois and Colorado: $97,000.00 - $133,300.00 base salary

Washington, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $97,000.00 - $139,525.00 base salary

Washington DC: $101,500.00 - $139,525.00 base salary

This role is also eligible for the following:

  • Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance.
