MV Transportation is seeking a Bus Washer/Fueler for our Mid Mon Valley Transit Authority (MMVTA) facility in Donora, PA. Successful candidate will ensure that the MMVTA bus fleet is cleaned, fueled and fully prepared for service.

Position works Sunday thru Thursday evenings when MMVTA buses are coming off the road after training.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure all vehicles are completely fueled and fluids topped off
• Daily cleaning of the interior of the vehicles including the following:
  • Sweeping/vacuuming and moping of entire floor space
  • Wiping down of all hand holds, driver area and window seals using a disinfectant solution
  • Spot vacuuming and/or scrubbing of any upholstered locations that need attention
  • Addressing other areas as needed such as removal of gum, tar, graffiti or any other stained or soiled areas
• Daily exterior cleaning of the vehicles via the use of the MMVTA automatic bus wash
• Weekly full interior detailing of each vehicle
• All fleet damage documented and communicated to appropriate personnel in the case of unreported damage
• Vaulting of fareboxes - including removal of cash boxes and placing them into the secured vaulting system (no handling of cash is required)
• Other duties as assigned

Talent Requirements:

• Must have a valid PA driver's license and a good driving record
• After training Bus Washer/Fueler must have the ability to safely maneuver buses around the closed yard location - moving them from fueling to bus wash to parking area. Must be able safely drive buses through the automatic bus wash
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to work a varied schedule, including nights and weekends - current schedule is Sunday thru Thursday evenings when MMVTA buses are coming off the road
