We are seeking an experienced Business Process Consultant to join our Workforce Benefits Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, implementing, and optimizing cross-departmental business processes, ensuring seamless collaboration between multiple teams while maintaining clear ownership boundaries. How you'll help move us forward:
Design and document comprehensive business processes that span multiple departments within the Workforce Benefits Division. Facilitate cross-functional meetings to align stakeholders on process objectives, responsibilities, and handoffs. Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance operational effectiveness. Develop clear documentation defining departmental responsibilities and accountability measures, right sizing recommendations to the current maturity of the organization. Serve as a neutral mediator to resolve boundary disputes and clarify ownership of tasks. Implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes. Monitor process performance and adjust as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
The experience you bring:
10+ years of experience in business process design and implementation supporting group insurances and/or group benefits. Practical operational experience in group benefits i.e. claims management, underwriting, or similar front-office function. Proven track record of successful cross-departmental process development. Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills. Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal. Advanced knowledge of process mapping methodologies and tools. Thorough understanding of Software development lifecycle (SDLC) and involved stakeholders. Experience with change management principles and practices as well as working in/with agile development teams.
What makes you stand out:
Professional certification in process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.). Experience with Business Process Mapping Notation (BPMN). Familiarity with process automation tools and technologies. Experience with Lucid. Knowledge of project management principles. Master's degree in Business Administration or related experience is preferred.
