Civil Engineer (0-3 years)

Coffman Engineers is seeking aCivil Engineerwith zero to three years of working experience, who wants to be a part of our office growth and culture. The successful candidate will have a desire to work, grow, and have fun with a multi-discipline engineering team that has recently been recognized as one of the Denver area's best places to work by the Denver Business Journal!

This position will support the team in providing our clients with all aspects of civil engineering, including land development design, site layouts, grading plans, storm water management facilities, water quality best management practices, utility design, and multidiscipline coordination.

Our regional Civil Engineering department consists of a small, but growing, team of professionals that enjoy leveraging our collective experience to deliver innovative solutions focused on our clients' success. Each of our team members will provide you with training, mentorship, and support to help you grow your career.

Requirements Include:

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from accredited college or university in Civil Engineering.
• From zero to three (0 - 3) years of experience in the civil engineering profession
• EIT or ability to obtain EIT within 2 years.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including oral presentation skills.
• Ability to work on a highly motivated team, think outside the box, and be proud of the work you do while having a passion for expanding your knowledge and skills.

Desired Skills and Duties:

• Possess intermediate level computer skills necessary for daily activities, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and simple graphics
• Possess technical writing skills.
• Able to work independently as well as on teams.
• Assist in managing CAD and production efforts.
• Solid understanding of commonly used hydrologic and hydraulic calculation methods.
• Perform research and documentation for internal and external distribution.
• Utilization of AutoCAD, and Civil3D to prepare civil engineering design documents.

This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

The expected annual salary range for this position if $65,000 - $85,000.
