Your Job The facilities technician position is responsible for performing diversified duties to include housekeeping. maintaining facility support equipment productive maintenance systems and processes and to support the achievement of the site's business goals and objectives in a safe manner. What You Will Do Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, to include wearing safety equipment * Display a positive attitude and be able to work in a team environment Perform basic housekeeping responsibilities throughout the facility Operate Forklift and Floor Scrubber Continuous knowledge development through shadowing and training in various roles Perform basic preventive maintenance tasks Engage in tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, pushing and/or pulling Work in a hot, cold, humid, noisy, industrial environment * Work around dust, oil, grease, chemicals, and other substances * Perform other duties as assigned Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) High school diploma or GED completion Experience in a farming, carpentry, construction, warehouse, military, production or manufacturing environment In order to comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations, this position requires applicants to either provide proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status or be eligible to receive an export authorization (a license) under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export AdministrationRegulations. What Will Put You Ahead Previous facilities and manufacturing experience Previous forklift experience * Experience with using hand and power tools such as wrench, hammer, and drills For this role, we anticipate paying $24.00 to $28.00 per hour.
