The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $57,600 - $77,800 depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things and market demand. Job Description

Red Wing Shoe is seeking a Channel Operations Specialist supporting our Industrial Business Unit. This role is partnering with Business Unit, Field Sales, Revenue Operations, and Cross-Functional teams to drive ongoing execution of annual financial and operational plans with an emphasis on driving revenue performance across each of our brands and Industrial distribution channels. Taking an analytical approach, they are expected to provide daily partnership and support to our selling teams and internal partners to drive execute against revenue-related opportunities and risks across our brands and Industrial channels. Critically, they are responsible for acting as the voice of the customer to ensure selling and corporate teams are delivering a remarkable, on-brand customer experience.

Essential Duties include:

  • Supports the Industrial business across all brands and channels by providing ongoing executional support to deliver our defined financial and operational plans.
  • Collaborates with business analyst, sales leaders, and individual sellers to create visibility and drive adherence to our defined KPI's, sales targets and annual objectives.
  • Works directly with internal stakeholders (Marketing, Brand Protection, Demand Planning, etc.) to plan and coordinate the execution of corporate initiatives through a customer first approach.
  • Partners with business analyst, demand planning and sales leadership to ensure the right inventory is in place at the right time, identifies and communicates inventory risks and opportunities.
  • Acts as a day-to-day partner and operational resource to selling teams and key customers to build collaborative relationships and ensure their needs and revenue targets are being met.
  • Supports field communication strategies and timely message delivery.
  • Helpprepare and manage Trade Shows, Sales Meetings, and other sales related events and activities.
  • Provide information and materials to sales teams in advance of larger account opportunities and meetings.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from in a related field of study, with a minimum of five years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Footwear experience is a plus.

Qualified candidates should have strong communication and analytical skills required, including the ability to effectively interpret and articulate customer business needs, document, and translate them into operating procedures; Demonstrated ability to get results through collaboration with organizational partners; Ability to evaluate and optimize processes and procedures; Exhibits knowledge and research ability to incorporate emerging industry and technology practices when solving business problems; Ability to identify process and system requirements to drive governance and continuous improvement; Ability to solve complex problems through fact based/data driven analysis; General knowledge of sales process, sales operations, or finance processes.

Work Environment:

This is a hyflex role; both onsite work in Red Wing, MN and remote work availability.
