Position Function	The field supervisor will provide field supervision to one social work MSW student completing a generalist practicum placement at Muncie Public Libraries as the student provides referrals and short-term case management to patrons as well as support and training to library staff. Type: Contractual, Exempt Duration: May 1, 2025 - July 18, 2025 Hours: Up to 4 hours per week (after initial 16-hour preparation) Hourly rate: $50 per hour No benefits included
Minimum Education	Bachelor of Social Work ( BSW) from an accredited institution
Minimum Experience	Two years of field experience in: Case management Crisis intervention and/or Working with people experiencing homelessness At least one year of prior field supervision experience
Minimum Other	In-depth knowledge public benefit navigation Strong understanding of NASW Code of Ethics Excellent communication and mentoring skills Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary setting
Authorization to work in the US	Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Preferred Education	Master of Social Work ( MSW)
Preferred Experience	In-depth knowledge of Muncie community resources Five years of social work field experience Two years of field supervision experience Program development experience Valid social work license (LBSW, LSW, or LCSW) in Indiana
