The Role

We are seeking a Senior Solution Architect to lead the design, scoping and delivery of complex, scalable technology solutions across Digital transformation, Data, Cloud, and DevOps projects.

This individual will work directly with clients, delivery teams, and leadership to architect modern data and digital platforms, shape technical strategies, and ensure successful project execution. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of technical expertise, consulting acumen, and the ability to lead end-to-end solution design and delivery.

Work You'll Do

  • Architect and implement modern data platforms using technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, Airflow, and Spark
  • Design and optimize data pipelines, analytics solutions, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
  • Lead the delivery of AI/ML, and data governance initiatives across industries
  • Define and implement cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure) to support digital transformation projects
  • Design and implement automation frameworks and business applications to support client needs
  • Contribute to cloud migration strategies, enterprise modernization, and DevOps automation (CI/CD, infrastructure as code)
  • Work closely with clients to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Collaborate with Managing Directors and Directors to align technology strategies with business goals
  • Support delivery teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful outcomes
  • Partner with business development teams to identify technology opportunities, shape solutions, and support proposal development
  • Contribute to SOWs, technical documentation, and client presentations
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry best practices
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, technology consulting, or systems integration roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Deep technical expertise in data engineering, data modeling, and the modern data stack
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform)
  • Proven experience estimating, scoping, and leading the delivery of complex technical projects
  • Ability to engage directly with clients, facilitate workshops, and influence senior stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to engage in direct client interaction, including travel to client locations
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship

Preferred Requirements

  • Technical certifications in relevant platforms or disciplines
  • Knowledge of healthcare-specific regulations and data standards (e.g., HIPAA, HL7)
  • Experience with additional data visualization tools or cloud-based data platforms
  • Based in Chicago, IL and flexible to work from our Chicago office as needed

The estimated base salary range for this position is $175,000 - $210,000. In addition to this base salary, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. This range is a part of a competitive, total compensation package together with our Employee Stock Ownership Plan, majority employer-paid benefits, and incentive pay for eligible roles. Please note that this range is a guideline and individual total compensation may vary due to numerous factors including but not limited to experience level, certifications, and other relevant business considerations.
