DETAILS Location: Downtown Dallas, TX 75201 (MUST BE LOCAL | onsite work 3-4 days per week initially [will NOT consider non-local resources willing to travel and/or relocate to TX]) Position Type: 6M+ Contract Hourly / Salary: to $150W2 JOB SUMMARY Vaco Technology is currently seeking a Fractional CISO for a 6M+ contract opportunity that is located in Downtown Dallas, TX 75201 (MUST BE LOCAL | onsite work 4-5 days per week initially [will NOT consider non-local resources willing to travel and/or relocate to TX]). The Fractional CISO MUST possess strong hands-on technical expertise and Cybersecurity Management across a Multi-Company / Multi-Brand company structure (where 1 company/brand may have 70 employees and another could have 700). The Fractional CISO will be managing multiple security portfolios and must be able to navigate varying cybersecurity needs across different brands, locations, and sizes. About the Project: This company is comprised of 5 brands within the digital commerce space. Recently, they failed an information security risk assessment, with issues identified in several sub-areas. The immediate need, is to assess those failures and design a security strategy / solution that addresses and resolved the identified issues while also designing a scalable security infrastructure. The overall objective is to align with a CISO that understands the complexities of creating a security practice around multiple brands/companies, all of varying sizes. This will be a very hands-on technically driven CISO role, where only having an executive-level focus will not suit their technically-focused leaders. JOB REQUIREMENTS
