Overview

The Finance Administrator is responsible for assisting the Finance Manager in financial, administrative and clerical duties related to the financing and sale of trucks and trailers. This position plays a key role in the day to day administrative management for TEC Equipment and must be able to clearly understand and value the relationship between his or her own daily tasks and the profitability of TEC Equipment as a whole.

The Administrative Assistant must provide superior detailed service throughout all interactions which means embodying TEC's Vision, Mission, Values and Value Proposition. This includes creating opportunities that continue to result in strong, steady and sustainable business growth, deliberately and consistently delighting and inspiring both internal and external customers; working together, being innovative, opportunistic, and a problem solver; and delivering on what is promised.



Responsibilities

    Perform daily processing of transactions in order to ensure that fundings are timely and accurate
  • Prepare and process accounting and/or general ledger coding of monies and DMV paperwork daily
  • Complete daily detailed data entry in multiple applications as directed in an accurate and timely manner
  • Accurately manage flooring payoffs, deposits and funds received; ensure quality control in all work completed in order to protect the organizations bottom line
  • Prepare documents for signing and funding in a timely manner to avoid unnecessary delays
  • Works closely with the DMV coordinator to assist with DMV processing


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years administrative experience
  • Bookkeeping or accounting experience is prefered
  • Finance industry or automotive/commercial experience preferred
  • Exceptional customer service, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to succeed in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to act as a team player and remain flexible and adaptable


Compensation

The base pay range for this position is $21.66 to $27.07.
