Sigma Defense is seeking a General Engineering Technician to assist in the manufacturing, fabrication, and integration of systems. Some travel will be required to perform field service at various customer sites on an as needed basis.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Adobe.
  • Experience with basic electrical, AC/DC circuits, and soldering is preferred.
  • Experience with electrical components and wiring is a plus.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Personnel Clearance Level:

  • Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance.
  • Clearance may be sponsored for the right candidate.

Education Requirements:

  • Associate's degree from an accredited college or university in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field of study.

Essential Job Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):

  • Wiring, soldering, and assembling small electronics or electronic related components.
  • Fabrication and mechanical and electrical integration.
  • Candidate should be willing to travel 1-2 weeks in a year to support testing and events related to contract.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually.
