Sr. IT Project Manager (KPI)

Hillenbrand is transforming the way we use data to drive business decisions, and we're looking for an Sr. Project Manager to lead the charge. In this role, you'll play a key part in a global data transformation initiative, delivering powerful insights that shape strategy across the organization. As part of Hillenbrand's Performance Operating Metrics (POM) implementation team, you'll collaborate with teams worldwide to build impactful dashboards, streamline processes, and turn complex data into actionable outcomes. Your ability to drive change, align stakeholders, and execute high-impact projects will directly influence how Hillenbrand leverages data for smarter, faster decisions.

Work You'll Do:

  • Manage projects involving Hillenbrand's global "Performance Operating Metrics" initiative to develop standardized and harmonized metrics across the company. This includes setting up dashboards to create data/project transparency and conducting business reviews to track and improve company performance.

  • Organize and lead regular stand-up meetings with the POM working group.

  • Support the establishment of regular Management Business Reviews and the implementation of POM Key Performance Indicators (KPI) within these reviews.

  • Coordinate KPI dashboard build with IT team and stakeholders.

  • Work with the Data Analytics team to help the organization take the right actions based on the KPI results.

  • Work closely with the stakeholders and the IT team to help automate the process.

  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Team:

This position reports to the Vice President, Analytics & Operational Excellence. In this role as Sr. Project Manager, you will be an individual contributor as there are no direct reports.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of managing global and enterprise level programs/ projects

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field of study.

  • Strong understanding of how to define, implement, and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive business decisions.

  • Hands-on experience collaborating with IT and analytics teams to design and deploy dashboard solutions.

  • Skilled at influencing and aligning cross-functional teams and senior leaders in a global organization.

  • Comfortable facilitating stand-ups, sprint planning, and iterative delivery cycles.

  • Ability to lead through change and manage the people side of transformation initiatives.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear, concise manner.

  • Adept at interpreting data to drive actionable insights and business outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Performance Operating Systems (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, POM frameworks).

  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence Tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.

  • Experience working with international teams or in a multinational corporate environment.

  • Understanding of operational metrics and business reviews in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Related Sectors.

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements for IT and data teams.

  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile/Scrum certifications are a plus.

  • Familiarity with setting up or supporting structured business review processes at the executive level.
