Answersa high-volume, multi-line switchboard for a department of 150+ employees Retrieves limited information using established filing systems Provides factual and limited information within the realm of authority to clients, the public, other justice agencies, and staff Greets visitors and directs walk-in traffic Monitors visitor building access and access badges Receives, sorts, and date-stamps mail and packages for pick-up and distribution throughout the office Serves as a backup to the office Runners, including pick up and delivery of items in and around the downtown Phoenix area and/or preparing photocopies and organizing materials Moves boxes and other large items and performs minor office clean-up tasks
Working Conditions
Most work is done in an office setting Requires ability to sit and/or stand for long periods, remain at assigned desk throughout workday Work in close contact with public and other staff members Ability to work 2-3 miles outdoors in temperatures above 90 degrees as needed Ability to lift, carry or push 25-35 lbs. for up to two miles
