Lead Pricing Analyst Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Pricing Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing within the government contracting space and demonstrate expertise across a variety of contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M, IDIQ, etc.). This role requires someone who is both strategic and detail-oriented, capable of managing complex pricing efforts while providing guidance to stakeholders across capture, proposal, and contracts teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and analysis of cost and pricing proposals across a range of government contract types.
- Interpret and analyze RFPs to extract and clarify pricing requirements.
- Apply diverse pricing strategies including Price-to-Win (PTW) analysis, competitive assessments, and cost-volume narrative support.
- Ensure pricing submissions are compliant with FAR and DFARS guidelines, with a strong understanding of cost allowability and allocability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Capture, Business Development, Contracts, and Program Management teams to build accurate and compelling pricing solutions.
- Use advanced Excel modeling and analysis to develop complex pricing structures, cost estimates, and scenario planning.
- Support audits, fact-finding, and negotiations, as required.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to junior pricing staff (if applicable).
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of pricing experience in government contracting.
- Proven track record pricing all major contract types (CPFF, FFP, T&M, etc.).
- Experience with Price-to-Win (PTW) strategies and competitive analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Demonstrated ability to review and interpret RFPs to ensure pricing compliance.
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, modeling, what-if analysis, etc.).
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with proposal automation or pricing tools (e.g., ProPricer, Costpoint, etc.).
- Exposure to cost accounting and indirect rate structures.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
This role requires customer approval, suitability to hold a public trust and successful completion of a preemployment background screening.
