Assistant Project Manager (Construction)

We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager, Construction to join our Project Delivery and Construction team at a project site near our headquarters in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.

In this role, you will assist in coordinating all contractual requirements and project specifications. Key responsibilities will include cost control, construction billing/invoicing, estimating, procurement, schedule analysis, documentation, forecasting, and report generation. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in resource coordination, ensuring project goals are met while fostering positive relationships with clients.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Manage project costs through existing cost reporting methods.

• Assist with project budget, invoicing, change control, and cost forecasting.

• Contribute to the generation of project scopes of work and support the Procurement Manager with bid preparation and analysis.

• Maintain project schedules and collaborate closely with the Construction Manager and Site Superintendent to monitor performance.

• Address any deviations and ensure accurate cost reporting by working closely with the Construction Manager and Superintendents to account for field events and conditions.

• Collaborate with Project Services to manage project costs, oversee site safety for assigned projects, and ensure compliance with safety measures and regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree.
• 4+ years of experience in Project Delivery, Engineering, or a related discipline handeling construction project costs

Context, Environment, & Safety

• This position will have 10% travel, or as required by the assigned project.
• You may be assigned to the client site for an extended period of time.
• Overnight travel or staying in the city of the client's location is possible depending on the assignment.
• You will visit client sites and will be required to adhere to stated safety rules.

This position is a safety-sensitive position. The employee is considered a field contractor supervisor and acts in a supervisory role for fieldwork for IPS employees or subcontractors.
