JOB TITLE: Pharmacy Technician Certified II DEPT: Pharmacy LOCATION: Maury Regional Medical Center - Columbia, TN SHIFT: Full Time, Days. 8 Hour Shifts, 5 Days/Week MAURY REGIONAL HEALTH: At Maury Regional Health, patients are at the heart of everything we do. JOB SUMMARY: The Certified Pharmacy Technician is primarily responsible for performing routine tasks in the unit dose distribution program, sterile compounding, and the outpatient prescription program. The Certified Pharmacy Technician participates in the departmental quality measures, process improvements, and the documentation efforts. The Certified Pharmacy Technician assists in capturing charges and credits for medications. The certified technician assists the Clinical Staff Pharmacists and Technician Supervisor as needed.
