Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon - Part-Time

New York Dental Affiliates (NYDA) is adding an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. The Hospital is part of theNYC Health + Hospitals System. Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level 1 Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island.The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences Universityto maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Opportunity Details:

• Direct patient care.
• Supervision/Teaching/Guidance of house staff and other members of the medical team.
• Assist in the maintenance of standard of performance of physicians and of other professional employees working in the service.
• Attends weekly staff conferences and committee work meetings.
• Organizes and supervises clinical trials at Kings County Hospital, when requested.
• Provide lectures as directed by Chief of Service.

• License to practice Dentistry in New York State.
• License to practice Dental Anesthesia in New York State.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $71,160* based on 12-hour work week.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $78,276**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:

• 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
• Medical Malpractice Coverage (equivalent to occurrence-based): Provided at no cost to the employee.
