Postdoctoral Research Fellow Cancer Genomics & RNA Biology Georgetown University: Medical Center: School of Medicine: Oncology Location: Medical Center Open Date: Apr 03, 2025 Deadline: Jul 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Description We seek a highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Fellow to join our dynamic team, where they will lead independent research projects and mentor junior lab members. The successful candidate will actively engage in molecular cloning, protein expression, purification, high-resolution live-cell imaging, biophysical experiments, genomic assays, and CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing and screening. Ideal candidates will hold a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences or a related field, with at least one first-author peer-reviewed publication in a reputable journal. Expertise in molecular biology, biochemistry, microscopy, or genomic tools is required. A research background in cancer, aging, or developmental biology with computational experience will be highly advantageous. The projected base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
