Staffmark is seeking an experienced and self-motivated Sales Account Manager to join a reputable company specializing in the wholesale distribution of industrial and mechanical pipes, valves, and fittings. This direct-hire position offers competitive pay and performance-based bonuses, along with opportunities for career advancement in a supportive, family-owned environment!

Hours and Pay:

1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Pay Range: $40K-$70K annually based on experience, plus performance-based bonuses.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create technical drawings and 3D models for customer orders.
• Perform material take-offs, read blueprints/drawings, and assist with drafting and engineering tasks.
• Build strong relationships with clients through phone and email communication, including cold calls to expand the client base.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via email-urgency is key!
• Prepare quotes, negotiate pricing, and manage customer orders efficiently.
• Collaborate with the inside sales team to source raw materials or outsource as needed to fulfill client requests.
• Demonstrate mechanical aptitude by reading tape measures or assembling parts when required.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 1+ years in sales or customer service within manufacturing or distribution environments.
• Technical Skills: Industrial CAD experience is required; proficiency in drafting, engineering, material take-offs, and blueprint reading is a big plus.
• Customer Service: Extensive phone and email communication skills; ability to identify buying signals and close deals effectively.
• Problem Solving: Self-motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Additional Skills: Basic computer skills (email, shipping, Excel); military background is a plus.
