Job Description

As an Account Manager you are responsible for a portfolio of clients and prospects to provide quality service, develop relationships, identify opportunities, and yield profitable business. You are responsible for retention of clients and new business development and must understand the client's business and their broad needs to provide solutions that address those needs. You will have knowledge of the product line and its applications, and can provide multi-faceted solutions for our customers.You will report to the (Industry Sales Manager, Hybrid and may work remotely from Milwaukee, Appleton, Chicago or Northeastern Iowa.



Your Responsibilities:
  1. You will manage important customer relationships with guidance from senior colleagues; customers likely to include mid-tier companies, multinational corporates and similar.
  2. You will develop and implement relationship management plans for existing customer accounts and set clear goals for each sales call or meeting and present to decision makers and influencers within the customer organization.
  3. You will configure a complex product and services solution and associated contractual terms that meet the customer's mid to long-term needs, while partnering with relevant internal specialists.
  4. You will review sales proposals from team members and escalate issues to senior management.
  5. You must develop a personal network within the business sector and represent us at business sector events. You will obtain market intelligence and enhance the visibility and reputation of the organization, our products and services.
  6. You will need to maintain an in-depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, conferences, and specialist media.

The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of relevant experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visa, now or in the future, for this job opening.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • The ability to travel 30% of the time to customers


The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working with IOT, IIOT, software and annual recurring revenue/subscription model.
  • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or Operations Management
  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things technology
  • Experience working all levels of a manufacturing enterprise
  • Experience selling to senior management and executive levels, focusing on outcomes and demonstrating tangible economic value of our products and information software
  • Work with all levels of a manufacturing enterprise - CxO, operations leadership, technical leadership, plant leadership and OEM machine builders.
