Service Delivery Manager [ Deskside and field services]

job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager with 12 to 15 years of experience in Delivery Management. The ideal candidate will oversee the delivery of projects ensuring they meet client requirements and are completed on time and within budget. This role is based in our office and operates during day shifts. No travel is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of project delivery to ensure timely completion.
  • Oversee project scope goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Provide direction and support to project teams ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Monitor and track project progress identifying and addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation to meet project demands.
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage changes to the project scope project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate to management as needed.
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget.
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
  • Delegate project tasks based on junior staff members individual strengths skill sets and experience levels.
  • Track project performance specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills.
  • Attend conferences and training as required to maintain proficiency.
  • Develop spreadsheets diagrams and process maps to document needs.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong background in delivery management with 12 to 15 years of experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Exhibit proficiency in project management software tools.
  • Have a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Show ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve project goals.
  • Display strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Hold a relevant certification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
  • Exhibit the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Show experience in stakeholder management and client relations.
  • Possess strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage project budgets and financials.
  • Exhibit a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating project risks.
