Job Summary

The Technical Training Instructor is responsible for delivering both in-person and virtual technical training courses to mechanics and technicians within Ford's dealership network, in alignment with the training matrix. Additionally, they are responsible for developing motivational programs such as the "Technician of the Year" competition, following Ford Colombia's guidelines.

Furthermore, they must conduct periodic competency assessments to classify technicians according to Ford's training certification matrix.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review and adapt course content and technical materials to the Colombian market, including necessary translations, ensuring alignment with Ford Motor Colombia's standards.

• Conduct pre-training practice sessions on systems and/or vehicles to ensure proper material application and effectiveness.

• Ensure 100% completion of virtual training before any in-person training session. Proficiency in both Spanish and English is required.

• Implement and manage an online discussion forum for each course to clarify doubts and reinforce concepts before, during, and after training, fostering collaborative learning.

• Ensure the availability of necessary tools and equipment for training sessions.

• Conduct periodic competency assessments for technicians within the dealership network and classify them according to Ford's training certification matrix.

• Upload and update STARS with training session results to maintain an up-to-date training record.

Profile Requirements:

• Education: Technical or engineering degree in automotive mechanics, electromechanics, or a related field.
• Experience: At least 3 years in vehicle diagnostics and repair.
• Technical knowledge in:




• Internal combustion engines and transmissions.
• Suspension, steering, and braking systems.
• Electrical and electronic diagnostics.
• Hybrid and electric vehicles (HEV, PHEV, BEV).




• Key Competencies:




• Teaching skills and experience in technical training.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and digital training platforms.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage learning groups.
