About the Hiring Group

The successful incumbent will join RTI's CFO Organization, reporting directly to the Director of Finance.


What You'll Do

The Senior Enterprise Resource Planning Project Specialist (Part-Time) will fulfill responsibilities in a part-time capacity which is 50%-time. They will perform project set-up activities in Oracle, populating project setup screens and combinations of setup parameters to facilitate accurate cost collection, project reporting, revenue recognition, and client invoicing.


What You'll Need

Essential Duties:

  • Review and analyze contract for key contractual information to inform all areas of project setup.
  • Review and analyze proposal budget information to inform financial areas of project setup.
  • Understand burden schedules and assign appropriate schedules to projects.
  • Responsible to create project contracts in Oracle, including contract lines, billing, and revenue recognition.
  • Responsible to assign all relevant billing information (invoice method, notes to the biller, roll-up information, delivery information).
  • Responsible to Setup Customer Sites in Oracle for direct projects to ensure client invoices are delivered appropriately.
  • Prepare WBS and collaborate with project teams to ensure WBS meets partner needs.
  • Prepare PLC table for Purchase Orders to enable linking of PLCs to ensure accurate client billing and vendor payment processing.
  • Responsible for various month-end close activities (Salary ceiling entries, FCCM entries, revenue entries for costs with indirect rate ceilings).

Education & Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience, Master's degree and 3 years of experience or PhD and 0 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to be resourceful and to take initiative in analyzing situations and applying principles and procedures to assist in the development of solutions to difficult problems.
  • Ability to effectively navigate particularly complex project setups.
  • Demonstrated leadership as leader of internal teams and functional leadership in cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to handle the stress associated in meeting frequent, multiple and tight deadlines.

Specialist Skills:

  • Familiarity with various contract types.
  • Proficient in revenue management and billing processes.
