Salary Range: $43,806/yr. Min. -- $56,947/yr. Max.
This is a full-time, 180-day contract position teaching courses in the administrative office professional curriculum, with a strong emphasis in emerging office technologies and Microsoft Office products (specifically Access and Excel). The successful candidate will have responsibilities in teaching and teaching-related activities; professional development; and service to the department, division, college, and community. Teaching assignments may include day, evening, weekend, satellite, and/or online courses. The candidate must be enthusiastic about delivering high-quality instruction to our students (including exploring new and innovative ways to deliver the instruction) and participating in committee assignments within our department, division, and college.

- You enjoy preparing and delivering day and evening courses at all locations (including satellite locations) and facilitating courses.
- You enjoy developing and maintaining syllabi, preparing unit tests and final examinations, developing assignments and projects, selecting textbooks and technology, and assessing the success and objectives of the course
- You have strong skills in and understanding of student academic advising.
- You are excited to suggest and develop new courses and offer these courses in various modalities;
- You are capable of promoting the marketing and public relations of our department, division, and college by attending and participating in open houses, other college events such as high school visits, community events, and speaking before groups and organizations.
To be considered you'll need:
- A Master's degree or Bachelor's degree (or higher) with a major certification or professional credentials dictated by the field.
- The preferred degree is Technical Education, Business, Business Education, or Business Administration or a closely related field.
- The candidate must be able to develop and implement innovative approaches to the learning environment, including instruction of college courses; selection of technology; possess excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; function effectively and productively in team-based initiatives; use technology skillfully, including MS Office programs and Internet-delivered materials.
