Program Manager - Ambulatory Operations & Primary Care - Full Time - Detroit (Hybrid)

Full-Time Benefit Eligible

Shift: Full Time - 40 Hours Exempt - Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM

Location: One Ford Place, Detroit MI 48202

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to join our Ambulatory Operations & Primary Care team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong foundation in project management, change management/process improvement, and strategic analysis. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of managing complex projects within the healthcare industry, with a preference for those who have supported ambulatory care planning, analysis, and strategy. This is a critical role that will help drive operational excellence and support the continued growth and innovation of our ambulatory and primary care services.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Director-Operations Excellence, responsible for initiating and managing various programs of a highly complex nature for the department. This includes planning, coordinating, and executing various initiatives to ensure successful program outcomes. Collaborates with leaders, cross-functional teams, physicians, stakeholders, and external partners to drive program objectives, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality healthcare services. Supports the department in achievement of their strategic goals by assisting in the timely and cost-effective delivery of all projects in a professional, motivated, and customer-focused manner.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:



  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Three (3) years of related experience in health care operations leadership, process engineering/improvement, analytics leadership, project management, Healthcare Administrative Fellowship or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in program management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare clinical and administrative operations, performance measurement, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in leading and motivating cross-functional teams.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficient in project management software, collaboration tools, and MS Office Suite.
