As an Associate Manager - Quality Engineering, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of a service delivery model supporting assigned platforms through a predefined framework. In particular, you will be involved in the development of quality engineering test cases/suites to validate and verify delivery of system artifacts in accordance with customer needs.

Role Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement testing and quality engineering artifacts for new and existing software applications.
  • Ensure that Mobile applications are implemented according to the product stakeholder needs.
  • Ensure mobile solutions are tested on multiple versions of OS, browsers, screen size, resolution etc.
  • Understand the roll out strategy of digital solutions and ensure testing is aligned with same
  • Document results accurately and reports results tactfully and concisely.
  • Exercise independent judgement within defined parameters to determine appropriate action.
  • Log and track system flaws using the JIRA issue tracking system.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and coordinate issue resolution with operations and technical teams.
  • Work with a software development team and Service providers in a geographically distributed structure.
  • Work independently on simple to medium complex projects.


Role Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar discipline.
  • 3-6 years of software quality engineering experience
  • Experience with test management systems (e.g. Jira Zephyr, HP ALM)
  • Experience in Mobile Apps and Web applications testing.
  • Experience in Playwright framework for web and mobile web automation
  • Experience in Appium Framework or Selenium Web driver
  • Knowledge of Basic JAVA programming
  • Knowledge of accessing relational databases (e.g. SQL scripting)
  • Strong background in test writing to provide full spectrum testing.
  • Familiar with deployment strategies, including creation and oversight of multiple QA environments.
  • Practical experience with creation of, and adherence to, an agile development scheduled for testing.
  • Background in working with product stakeholders to organize, develop and execute User Acceptance Tests
  • Experience with selecting/creating appropriate test data and practiced at Structured Query Language (SQL) to validate system's correct data handling.
  • Problem solver with demonstrated experience in solving difficult technology challenges.
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task, prioritize, manage workload, and consistently deliver results.
  • Experience in Agile and Iterative development methodologies
  • Excellent written communication skills, including technical documentation.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to interact with developers and product stakeholders globally.

Salary

The base salary range is $91,100 - $120,000 USD per year, total on target compensation includes a base salary plus a variable target incentive that aligns with individual and company performance. Actual salaries will vary based on candidate's qualifications, skills and competencies.
