Primary Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for supporting the clients strategic nursing Informatics roadmap which aligns to the overall clients strategic priorities
  • Provides leadership, consultation, and coordination for the transformation of care processes and outcomes within nursing and clinical ancillary services with the use of technology
  • Leads nursing in the design and execution of technology-enabled process change that maximizes patient safety, quality of care and operational efficiency for clients
  • Leads the development, deployment, re-engineering, optimization, integration, adoption and performance of clinical information systems to support clinicians and patient care

Required Qualifications:



  • Registered nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in nursing
  • 1+ years of experience with Nursing/clinical workflows as well as information technology to identify, evaluate, and assess new care delivery technology, developing recommendations on the impact of integration with existing workflows and systems
  • 1+ years of experience in EHRs, data analytics, and other health care technologies
  • 1+ years demonstrating project management skills related to system implementation, upgrades, or process improvements
  • 1+ years of experience using and teaching nursing end users on the use of Epic EHR within their workflow
  • Driver's License and access to a reliable transportation



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in health informatics or a similar field
  • ANCC certification in nursing



The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
