Medica is a non-profit health insurance company headquartered in Minnetonka with offices in Madison and Omaha. The company is active across the heart of America and provides health care coverage in multiple markets. Medica is engaged in our communities through the charitable grant-making work of the Medica Foundation and through active employee giving and volunteer programs. Medica will host a 12-week, paid Internship Program. Interns will have the opportunity to network within Medica and with other Interns through weekly Lunch-and-Learns and opportunities to hear from Executives. We strive to offer a well-rounded education of the inner workings of a health plan. Each internship offers a meaningful experience and impactful projects you will be able to discuss with future employers. At Medica, we look forward to our Summer Internship Program each year. Department Introduction: Medica's Digital Asset Management (DAM) Intern will primarily focus on assisting with day-to-day tasks of uploading assets into our DAM system, the Medica Digital Asset Center (MDAC). In addition to entering content into MDAC, they'll contribute to a larger project aimed at improving the DAM's workflow or metadata structure to enhance asset findability. They'll also help with administrative documentation of system changes associated with that project. Key Accountabilities:
Outcomes Expected at the End of the Internship: Medica's Digital Asset Management Intern is expected to complete a project focused on the organization of metadata in MDAC, culminating in a presentation during either the Content/Copy Meeting or the Experience Design Team meeting. Qualifications:

This position is a hub-based role which requires onsite presence. To be eligible for consideration, candidates must reside within a commuting distance to one of the following office locations: Minnetonka, MN or Madison, WI. Onsite frequency is determined by business need as decided by leadership and may be up to 2-3 days a week.
