Job Overview:
This position is for a Service Coordinator supporting the Centrifugal, Large Recip, and other high-pressure equipment. Team and serves the compressed air needs of the industrial sector. The Service Coordinator is responsible for efficiently and effectively coordinating service technicians to meet customer's needs. Service Coordinators will manage and communicate with customers, sales teams, and management, while adhering to all order management and operational requirements of the position.

Responsibilities


  • Answer incoming service requests and schedule service team to perform work as requested by the customer.

  • Ensure efficient response to customers, whether new machine commissioning, emergency repair, major equipment overhauls, major projects or long-term service agreements (Package Care).

  • Earn customer loyalty by effectively and efficiently managing customer interactions, ensuring customer satisfaction.

  • Generate and follow-up on service quotes and seek new business whenever possible.

  • Scheduling and tracking technician team, maximize operating efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Guide and develop service technicians as appropriate, assisting in technical issue resolution.

  • Order and receive parts for jobs. Monitor shipping and receiving activities.

  • Conduct service request data entry and management.

  • Submit warranty claims and ship parts to the factory. Ensure SARBOX compliance.

  • Ensure that standard service work processes are created and followed. Monitor and maintain company policy and procedures consistently.

  • Ensure environmental, health and safety compliance within service team.

  • Support and manage customer requirements on a project, which may include documentation, certifications, and other special requirements. Work with appropriate teams as needed to accomplish this task (legal, finance, sales, etc.)

  • Collaborate with service team to increase new product training. Collaborate with direct Centrifugal sales team to drive service, sales and aftermarket opportunities.

  • Support Strategic Account Management by continually improving processes to better serve customers.




Requirements
:


  • High school diploma

  • 2+ yrs of experience in a related field

  • Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software suite

  • Working proficiency with handheld computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad)

  • Outstanding customer service skills, including proper phone etiquette and skills.

  • Exceptional organization, communication (verbal and written), and follow-up skills with the ability to effectively manage a high volume of priorities and commitments in a highly visible, fast-paced work environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to follow standard processes and work autonomously while understanding when to escalate issues that require further review.

  • Proactive mindset to identify areas for process optimization, collaborate with teams to refine service delivery, and that will enhance operational effectiveness.

  • College Degree

  • Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems




Travel and Work Arrangements


  • This position is a Hybrid role with Monday and Friday working from home
