Job Summary
We are hiring for a position located in the United States (preferably Central US), for NetApp's Azure Cloud Solutions Architect (CSA) organization to manage a team of technical pre-sales experts who will work to identify candidate workloads, design and architect appropriate solutions, run proofs-of-concept, and move customers into active consumption of NetApp's Azure-based products. This role will focus on leading the team in providing technical solution architecture, achieving sales quotas, driving customer satisfaction, and interacting with our partner (Microsoft) and customers to adopt NetApp's Azure technologies, and you will find yourself in the heart of our customers' digital transformation efforts. Much of the customer engagement will be done collaboratively with the Microsoft Sales and Technical teams, where we are providing the technical expertise on Cloud services offered by NetApp and Azure. The ideal candidate should have experience managing a technical team, along with experience with NetApp ONTAP and Microsoft Azure technologies. About Us: We are part of the global Cloud Solutions Architect team within NetApp's Public Cloud Services business unit, specifically tasked with driving customer adoption of our Microsoft Azure cloud services. Our Sales, Technical, and Customer Success teams are charged with implementing and scaling the many Cloud and software services in our portfolio and exceeding our Sales goals. It's a very dynamic area within NetApp, and we pride ourselves on our agility, adaptability, and continuous process improvement.
Job Requirements
* A passion for leading a highly technical, diverse, collaborative team of professionals in achieving the goals set for our team and our customers. * Ability to help your team prioritize and address multiple projects concurrently. * Personal initiative - you will not be closely supervised, so this job requires a motivated, results-oriented individual who can foster team collaboration and achievement without close supervision. * Appetite to learn and adapt to changing organizational structures and priorities. * Experience in working with customers within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. * Technical knowledge of Cloud concepts and technologies preferred, particularly Microsoft Azure. * Willingness to travel within the assigned geography to customer locations, and occasionally further. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Strong English language skills (other languages are a plus). * On-premises infrastructure and workload experience (e.g. SAP, Oracle, VMware) and data migration methodologies are a plus.
Regular Activities: * Organizing team meetings, priorities, sales support system hygiene, and upskilling/enablement sessions. * Tight integration with aligned Sales Specialist organization, collaborating to identify, qualify, and advance customer opportunities through the sales cycle and keep management informed of issues and challenges. * Alignment with Microsoft organizational units, acting as trusted partner to help drive customer adoption of NetApp's Azure solutions. * Offering product guidance to the Product Group based upon input from your field team. * Maintain a broader view of the industry through constant learning and a growth mindset. * Self-study/learning time:
- Staying abreast of the latest developments in public cloud services.
- Developing or enhancing processes and techniques utilized by our Sales and Technical teams.
Education & Experience
- Desire Bachelor's degree plus 6-8 years of related field experience.
- Management experience is a plus
Microsoft Azure Cloud certifications are a plus, most importantly:
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
- Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
Compensation: The target salary range for this position is 239,105 - 309,430 USD. The salary offered will be determined by the candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education and may be outside of this range. The range is based on 'On Target Earnings' (OTE) representing the total potential earnings, which is the sum of the base salary and potential commission earned when performance targets are achieved. Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement or Pension Plans, Paid Time Off (PTO), various Leave options, employee stock purchase plan, and/or restricted stocks (RSU's).
