Technical Project Manager

Atlas Technologies seeks a Technical Project Manager to provide leadership and guidance in managing technology projects for our growing organization. Our ideal candidate is an expert in identifying customer and client needs and managing multiple projects and distributed teams.

In this role you will work closely with stakeholders, engineers, and product teams to deliver our customer the most efficient use of resources and technologies. You will work with all stakeholders to identify appropriate resources and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects. You will also assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, manage escalations, make tradeoffs, and balance business needs and technical constraints to maximize business benefits.

Apply your project management and technical skills to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions for the US Coast Guard thru our partnership US Navy, National Information Warfare Center (NIWC).

You Will:

• Provide leadership guidance and demonstrate a mature project management approach in managing technology projects.
• Identify opportunities for digital innovation and improvements of acquisition business processes using client approved online technology (e.g., Power Platform tools, SharePoint, Teams, Lists, Forms, Planner, etc.).
• Communicate the vision and benefits of digital transformation to stakeholders; Use data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
• Understand and leverage data analytics and visualization tools.
• Work with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, and/or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services.
• Work cross-functionally to solve problems and implement changes. Work closely with technical experts/project leads to ensure timely completion of deliverables with a focus on meeting project commitments and quality control.
• Act as interface between the technical teams and other groups including the customer and sponsor, and support organizations for all activities and issues pertaining to the Technical work.
• Work directly with customers to understand their priorities, define goals and strategies for improvement, identify additional contract opportunities, and resolve issues.
• Establish and standardize processes and quality control plans and facilitate project close-out meetings with customers and address concerns in a timely manner.
• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives.

You Have:

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and strategic thinking ability
• Strong technical writing and job aid development
• Experience with requirements gathering and creating requirements traceability matrix or functional requirements documents
• 3-5 years' experience serving as a team lead, project manager, or in a leadership position coordinating tasking with team members
• Experience taking a project through to completion from requirements to deployment and sustainment
• Expertise within Microsoft Office and Power Platform products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentations.
• Experience with process improvement and process mapping
• Experience with initiating document reviews and development
• Organization skills
• Superior attention to detail
• Exceptional multi-tasking skills
• Demonstrated and verifiable ability to develop, support and maintain high performing teams
• Servant-leadership mentality
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

Preferred:

• Master's degree or equivalent in IT related field
• PMP certification or equivalent
• CompTIA Security+ certification
• Microsoft Power Platform certification
• Lean Six Sigma certified or business process management certification
• Experience with US Coast Guard and/or US Navy
• 3-5 years online Microsoft tools (e.g., SharePoint architecture and navigation, Power Platform tools)
