Job Overview:

The AP Coordinator 2 plays a crucial role in fostering relationships with both internal and external customers of Astound, as well as managing accounts payable service standards. Additionally, this role includes supporting the AP Lead and Director in accordance with established guidelines, as well as conducting research on various projects as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, demonstrate exceptional organizational and communication abilities, and have practical experience with Microsoft Great Plains and Excel.

A Day in the Life of the AP Coordinator II:



  • Manage incoming purchase order and non-purchase order invoices
  • Provide GL coding for invoices and route to Astounds approvers via workflow
  • Process purchase order invoices ensuring a 3-way match
  • Resolve purchase order/invoice pricing and quantity discrepancies with the Purchasing Manager/Markets
  • Ensure vendor remittances are current
  • Process leasing, refunds, and programming uploads
  • Process manual invoice requests within established service levels
  • Process payment batches and check registers
  • Resolve any customer inquiries in a timely manner
  • Other duties as assigned


What You Bring to the Table:



  • 3 - 6 years experience in high volume accounts payable
  • Working Knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with Great Plains Financial Software and/ ReqLogic is preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • Strong organizational skills


Education and Certifications:



  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Associates Degree in Accounting or Business Administration or relevant experience

Base Compensation: The base hourly range for this position is $22.00- $24.00 per hour, plus opportunities for bonus and benefits. The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
