GENERAL FUNCTION

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Medical Equipment Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling ophthalmic equipment to Ophthalmologists, Optometrists, hospitals, clinics, and other medical facilities. Your primary focus will be building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions that enhance patient care. In addition, you will be required to find new business opportunities for Essilor Instruments.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers within medical facilities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
  • Present, demonstrate and in-service medical equipment to clients, highlighting features, benefits, and applications.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Achieve sales targets and goals within your territory.
  • Prepare and deliver accurate sales reports, forecasts, and updates to management.
  • Facilitate equipment repairs for accounts in your territory and aid in installation of equipment.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in medical sales or a related sales field is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of medical equipment and its applications.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-lasting client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.

Pay Range: -80,151.75

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
