Position Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer Intern to join our team, specializing in the production of chillers for data centers. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-growth, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will support various aspects of manufacturing engineering to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the analysis and optimization of manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Support the development and implementation of lean manufacturing principles and practices to enhance workflow and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to support overall manufacturing goals.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, including time studies, workflow analysis, and layout optimization.
  • Help maintain accurate records of production activities, process improvements, and engineering changes.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to production performance, process improvements, and engineering projects.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends and provide actionable insights for process optimization.
  • Support inventory management by analyzing inventory levels and recommending improvements.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for manufacturing processes.
  • Other job duties as assigned.
Required Education & Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
