The Associate Procurement Analyst maintains exceptional data expertise and ensures strong data integrity. Manages spend data mining efforts and collaborates with stakeholders to uncover potential opportunities for new value creation. Provides RFP analysis and recommendations to support Lead Category Buyers with negotiation strategies and sourcing recommendations. Assists and drives excellence in broader procurement objectives and initiatives through strategic thinking, process improvements, and data analysis.

What you will do:

  • Provides timely and accurate assistance to team members, including updating data, developing special reporting, and crafting other needed improvements. Anticipates and meets specific needs and requests for each review.

  • Manages all agreement documentation in a formal repository, ensuring that past drafts as well as current signed agreements are properly organized, protected and available for future review. Reports out metrics that hold LCBs accountable and reduces risk to GFS.

  • Influences and leads stakeholder groups throughout the company including US & Canada Distribution, Stores, Specialty Companies and Strategic Alliances.

  • Escalates missed value/savings opportunities, engaging appropriate managers and leaders when needed in order to drive adoption.

  • Develops effective tools and reporting (to be used in Leadership-level report-outs) to track progress towards goals.

  • Accountable for data collection and analysis; distills information into insightful reporting with actionable recommendations.

  • Adheres to the mission and cornerstone values and applicable practices of the organization.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

When you will work:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.

  • Hybrid Work Schedule: 4 days in office, 1 day from home.

What you bring to the table:

  • One to three years previous experience: Help Desk, Procurement, Supply Chain, Marketing, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, Supply Chain or related.

  • Understands the principle and process for providing excellent customer service.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Self- managed; must be open minded, have integrity, initiative, value consciousness, deadline focused and strong motivation toward company, team and individual results.

  • Technology - advanced Excel knowledge (ie. pivot tables, vlook-ups, macros, formula creation).

  • Must be detail oriented with a commitment to a high level of accuracy.

  • Personifies a helpful, eager, malleable, and diligent spirit to serve all team members.

  • Ability to communicate, collaborate, and learn from other departments to ensure continuity of work and project coordination.

  • Demonstrates the ability to comprehend and improve business processes.

  • Must have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and good organizational and problem solving skills.

  • Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and be able to work independently and within a team environment.

  • Builds knowledge of industry trends and new advancements specific to Procure to Pay cycle and PCard best practices.

  • Develops solutions to a variety of problems of large scope and complexity. Refers to policies and practices for guidance.
