We are looking to hire a Sr. Manager, Data Strategy & Analytics to drive our data and analytics capabilities within McKesson's Financial Services & Solutions (FSS) organization - providing analysis, reports and dashboards to support the needs of our FSS team. This individual collaborates with our Sr Manager, Data & Technical Operations to identify ways to mature our data environment. This individual will have direct interaction with senior leaders, and as a people leader, will be responsible for coaching a team of direct reports and serve as a technical resource for our offshore development team.

* Candidate must be based in the Irving, TX area. Position will primarily allow working from home, but candidate must be willing to come into the office from time to time for key meetings and face time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively makes recommendations to advance our analytics capabilities and enhance our technical environment

• Run complex and detailed analyses to identify areas of improvement and increasing efficiency

• Perform critical ad hoc analytics for senior leadership

• Understand business needs and objectives, ownership of workstreams to deliver data-driven business insights

• Consulting business to align data strategy to support business objectives

• Strong knowledge of SOX compliance requirements

• Responsible for coaching and developing direct reports

• Works closely with IT and Business SMEs to achieve required project goals

• Ensures adequate documentation of processes and work products

• Experience working with complex data sourcing across different technologies

• Ability to build and support data visualization solutions

• Define company-wide metrics and relevant data sources

• Present findings periodically to leaders of the organization

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience (additional BI & Analytics certifications a plus), and typically requires 9+ years of related professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience

Critical Skills:

People

• Experience leading and growing local and offshore teams

• Ability to communicate effectively with developers and senior leaders

• Strong attention to detail

• Minimum 5+ years of work experience in specifically in Business Analytics

Business

• Experience supporting a Finance Shared Services organization

• Strong knowledge of SOX compliance requirements

• Ability to drive change in a complex environment

Technical

• Proficiency using Power BI/Tableau, SAS, SQL, Python

• Familiarity with cloud technology (Azure, GCP, AWS)

• Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills

• Experience with Azure SQL Server Management and SQL Agent

Additional Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong collaboration skills to engage effectively with the Business and establish & transition new Insights Teams when appropriate

• Ability to foster a community which will attract and retain talent

• Proven experience in influencing business leaders towards change, and business process alignment and improvement

• Ability to create impactful presentations and deliver to executive staff

• Ability to build and manage high-performing teams
