GIS Analyst Category: Telecom Employment Type: Direct Hire Reference: BH-383972 The GIS Analyst manages and leverages GIS resources to create maps and graphic reports. This position collects and handles data, provides mapping services, and performs technical research and analysis using ESRI ArcGIS Desktop Products and ArcGIS cloud environments. Responsibilities: Evaluate and adhere to client design requirements Perform GIS data management and analytical tasks Support and manage GIS applications Plan and coordinate GIS activities Develop quality control standards Perform data capture and analysis Oversee data flow and distribution Provide technical guidance to GIS users Qualifications: Experience with ESRI software Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, CAD, and related software Expertise in spatial analysis and geoprocessing tools Comprehensive knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS Desktop Products Good working knowledge of ArcGIS Online and ESRI mobile apps Ability to work with minimal supervision Experience with mobile GIS data collection and GPS accuracy standards Excellent written and verbal skills Enthusiasm for learning and problem-solving Detail-oriented with high accuracy Preferred: Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, or related field Professional GIS experience in the utility sector Estimated Min Rate: $60000.00 Estimated Max Rate: $80000.00 Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
