Now, we're looking for a visionary Senior Director of Transportation to lead domestic line haul strategy, transportation management system (TMS) optimization, and non-asset-based freight operations. Your Mission: Optimize, Scale, and Lead Transportation Excellence Transform how freight moves with precision, compliance, and performance-driven results. Strategic Leadership: Define and execute long-term transportation strategies, business plans, and performance objectives TMS Implementation: Lead the full lifecycle of Transportation Management System (TMS) deployment and continuous improvement Operational Oversight: Direct domestic line haul operations and optimize routing, scheduling, and cost-efficiency Vendor & Contract Management: Oversee non-asset-based transportation partners, carrier relationships, and contract negotiations Process Standardization: Develop SOPs and training programs to ensure consistent execution and performance across all transportation functions Data-Driven Decision Making: Establish KPIs, review performance metrics, and implement continuous improvement practices Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, and federal, state, and local transportation regulations Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Legal, HR, Claims, and Customer Service teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution What You'll Lead & Deliver Innovative solutions, scalable systems, and results that move the business forward. Full implementation and adoption of enterprise-wide transportation tools and technologies Development of high-performing teams across geographically dispersed operations Resolution and risk management during transportation disruptions Effective budgeting, cost control, and financial stewardship of transportation operations Performance reporting that enhances customer retention, stakeholder confidence, and operational growth What You Bring to the Role Executive presence, deep logistics knowledge, and operational leadership. Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required Master's degree preferred Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain 5+ years in a senior leadership role with full responsibility for budget, staffing, and high-level decision making 4+ years managing complex, cross-functional projects from planning to execution Skills & Expertise: Deep understanding of transportation networks, warehousing, distribution, and logistics technologies Proficiency in TMS, WMS, and ERP platforms Strong financial acumen with experience in multi-year planning, forecasting, and ROI analysis Proven success with Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies Ability to interpret and navigate transportation regulations and compliance frameworks Strong communication and leadership skills to influence cross-functional teams and executives Why Join The Pasha Group? The salary range listed is based on the geographic zone associated with this role: Seal Beach, CA. Starting pay will be determined by job-related factors including experience, education, and business needs and may be modified at any time. Zone 2: $200,000 - $250,000 This job is also eligible for participation in an Incentive Plan with a target payout based on eligible compensation and corporate/individual performance goal attainment.
