A Stress Analysis Engineer job is currently available remotely to support a customer site in Covington, GA. This is a direct, full-time position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a Bachelor of Science degree in the engineering field, preferably Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, and a minimum of 2 years of experience analyzing airframe structure.

Job Duties:
*Uses computational methods and tools in a specialized field (strength of metallic structures, rotating parts, finite element analysis, fatigue, and damage tolerance, etc.).
*Performs pre-dimensioning computations by implementing analytical or digital computation methods and pass judgement on the credibility of the data received and the results obtained.
*Analyze the results and provide detailed summary of results while adhering to guidelines and requirements.
*Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.

Required Qualifications:
*Able to communicate results clearly to peers, leadership, and the customer.
*Familiarity with ANSYS Classic and Workbench
*Bachelor's or Master"s degree in Engineering and 2+ years experience with Stress Analysis
*Must have experience with creating detailed Finite Element Models
Capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings.
Familiarity and experience with other FEA tools such as Altair HyperMesh
*Knowledge/experience with Computer Aided Design software tool Siemens NX

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
Composite Material Analysis Experience

Compensation:
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary rate of $90,000 to $110,000 however, Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.'
