Position Title: Machine (Print) Operator
Wage: $18-$19/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 6am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, 6am-2:30pm Friday Are you detail-oriented and thrive in a hands-on, fast-paced environment? As a Flag Press Operator, you'll be at the heart of production, ensuring high-quality prints with precision and efficiency. If you have machine print operator experience, enjoy working with machinery, take pride in craftsmanship, and want to be part of a dynamic team, this is your chance to make an impact! Machine (Print) Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Efficiently print jobs both in-house and P.O.D (Print on Demand) on the flag press - Maintain consistent press quality throughout the press run, separating rejects from production pieces - Adhere to published production schedules - Manage time effectively to maximize press output and minimize downtime - Minimize waste of raw materials and supplies - Perform periodic maintenance and cleaning of press equipment - Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all procedures and paperwork - Maintain a clean and safe work area - Communicate and coordinate effectively with other departments - Attend weekly department meetings - Follow established department guidelines, policies, and procedures - Organize POD Travelers - Pull garden flag paper to fulfill POD orders - Operate mat pressing equipment as a backup when needed - Participate in annual physical inventory Machine (Print) Operator Requirements: - Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours per shift) - Frequent lift and carry materials up to 30lbs - Occasional bending, stooping, and reaching - Ability to climb and use a step ladder as needed - Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for handling materials and operating machinery - Ability to perform repetitive tasks efficiently and accurately - Strong attention to detail QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
