Job Summary Provide counseling services to University employees regarding core University Payroll & Benefits (UPB) activities which requires moderate knowledge of benefit and payroll policies and procedures. Ensure the assigned areas of responsibility are conducted in compliance with established University and departmental guidelines, regulations and applicable state and federal tax laws. Minimum Qualifications 1. Any one or combination totaling eighteen (18) months from the categories below: a. College course work in human resource management, business administration, social sciences, or a closely related field: - 30 semester hours equals one (1) year (12 months) - Associate's Degree (60 semester hours) equals eighteen months (18 months) - 90 semester hours equals two (2) years (24 months) - Bachelor's degree (120 semester hours) equals three (3) years (36 months) b. Work experience performing clerical or paraprofessional duties related to benefits and/or insurance benefits in benefits, insurance, retirement, healthcare, or human resources. APPOINTMENT INFORMATION This is a 100% Full Time Civil Service Benefits Representative position. The expected start date is 4/28/2025. Sponsorship for work authorization is not available for this position. The budgeted salary range for the position is $40,000.00 - 44,000.00. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
