Software Engineer in Test

Onshape is looking for automation development engineers to build and maintain test infrastructure for theonly product development platform that unites CAD, data management, collaboration tools and real-timeanalytics. You will be developing and maintaining quality assurance testing infrastructure that helps ensure functionality, performance, scalability, and robustness goals are met.

Day to Day:
- Work closely with R&D to design, implement, debug and oversee QA automation infrastructure
- Assist R&D in expanding test coverage and applicability
- Expand and support an automation testing framework using Java, JUnit, Gradle and other frameworks in the Java ecosystem
- Build and maintain internal tools for running and triaging tests

Preferred experience:
- 2+ years experience testing software through automation
- Experience working with asynchronous technologies
- Experience working with distributed technologies
- Experience working with RESTful APIs
- Experience working with geometric modeling kernels and variational solvers

Required Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience writing and maintaining unit, integration, and full end-to-end tests
- Experience with Java test frameworks like JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, etc.
- Familiarity with continuous integration build environments; Jenkins, GitHub actions, GitLab, CircleCI, etc
- Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to assess progress and completetasks independently
- Strong communication and reporting skills (verbal and written) withan ability to work collaboratively
