Function in a supportive role for the Payroll Department by answering general questions relating to inquiries from employees and HR members. Assist in the daily payroll department operations to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely. Perform all activities necessary to support the payroll process, including maintaining related records, documenting, and updating payroll procedures and preparing reports as requested by management. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor and route inquiries for employment verifications and train new users
- Submit all garnishments to the ADP Wage Garnishment client service team to be processed and respond to requests for additional information or employee questions
- Perform daily review and distribution of mail correspondence and respond to specific inquiries that require a response from the Payroll Department
- Perform activities for the unemployment claims process
- Assist with routing and responding to cases within the HR Service Now ticketing system, emails in shared email boxes, and calls from the HR Help line
- Manage pending address changes within MyADP
- Assist the retirement administrator with weekly reconciliations and funding of contributions
- Process various banking tasks for the payroll team
- Responsible for completing monthly BLS reports
- Monitor and route uncashed checks, ADP invoices, and credits to appropriate payroll team members
- Process monthly reconciliations and submit payment vouchers to A/P
- Assist with other month end and year end tasks
- Assist the payroll team with timekeeping and payroll adjustments and corrections as needed
- Create and/or run reports using ADP Reporting system
- Prepare and maintain departmental procedures as new processes are created, updated, and streamlined
- Assist in the testing of payroll related systems enhancements, improvements, upgrades, and migrations
- Build strong internal and external relationships with the locations, team members, and management
- Provide excellent customer service in a high-volume, fast paced, often changing environment
- Resolve issues in a positive, professional and timely manner while paying close attention to detail and keeping all salary, benefit, and other personal information confidential
- Assist other team members as needed

Minimum Requirements: Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 0 - 1 years of experience in payroll administration
- Experience working in high volume, fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
- Certification and/or License - N/A
