Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Draftsperson to join our team. In this position you will perform drafting assignments including creation of lot specific construction documents, generated using AutoCAD Architecture.

Responsiblities

    Base plan corrections using AutoCAD Architecture
  • Work with National Architecture Department to ensure the quality of our drawings and integrity of the product is maintained
  • Assist in the review and correction of site specific plans (Architecture plans, engineering plans, HVAC/ Man J's, ect.) to ensure accuracy of construction documents
  • Assist with administrative task within the department including but not limited to printing plans for field use
  • Respond to technical questions from internal and external parties regarding plans currently under construction
  • Assist with addressing comments received from building department officials
  • Coordinate with structural engineering and civil engineering for plan tracking and lot specific corrections
  • Create and manage tracking document to ensure timely turn around on projects including lot specific orders

Requirements

  • Degree or Certification in Drafting
  • 1-2 Years Architectural drafting experience preferred but not required
  • Proficient in AutoCad
  • Proficient in Microsoft word and excel
  • Experience in Bluebeam or Adobe
  • Basic knowledge of Construction Documents is a bonus
  • Attention to detail

  • Good at prioritization of tasks
