Hear more from our team members about why UnityPoint Health is a great place to work at https://dayinthelife.unitypoint.org Overview Behavioral Health Professional Full-Time; FTE 1.0 The Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) is supervised by the Manager of Community Based Services provides care to consumers utilizing the Robert Young Center principles of Trauma Informed Care. They will serve as a member of an interdisciplinary Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACT) and provides recovery oriented in-home and community-based services for adults with severe mental illnesses. The Behavioral Health Professional provides comprehensive case management and psychosocial rehabilitation through an outreach-oriented set of service activities. Responsibilities
Qualifications Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Human Services Experience: 2 years of experience in the field of substance abuse; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. License(s)/Certification(s): Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons, attained within 3 months of employment. One of the following certifications listed below:
