Cape Fox subsidiary Eagle Health, LLC is accepting resumes for aBRMR Technical Support to support the members at Ft. Detrick, Maryland. This position is contingent upon contract award.

The salary range (or hiring range) for this exempt position has been established at:$75,000 - $90,000.

The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Responsibilities:



  • Provide technical laboratory support in the tasks of maintaining an ISO 17034 accredited reference materials producer of microbial materials and reagents. This includes strain accession, production of seed and production material, strain characterization studies, production of assay reagents and controls, inventory management, and distribution activities.
  • Will safely and securely work with IAT and BSAT organisms in BSL-2, 3, and 4 laboratories with a focus on viral work.
  • Simultaneously learn, practice, and demonstrate ongoing competence in performing ISO procedures within the Biodefense Reference Material Repository (BRMR).
  • Directly support the production and characterization of accredited reference materials within the BRMR.
  • Prepare viable and non-viable samples for distribution to DoD labs to serve as control, training, and proficiency test reagents for immunological and molecular environmental and diagnostic assays.
  • Promptly complete, file, and peer review paperwork associated with ISO production efforts, maintain meticulous lab notes, and help ensure internal file databases remain complete and current.
  • Support internal audits of the Diagnostic Systems Division's ISO 17025 and 17034 procedures and practices and contribute to laboratory process improvements as required.
  • Cross-train with other branches and programs to actively support funded research efforts across the division as required.
  • May assist in the preparation of technical reports, standard operating procedures, and manuscripts relating to their research efforts
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, safe and secure accredited laboratory environment.
  • BPRP enrollment is required and will be held and maintained IAW the provisions in this contract and all applicable regulations.
